   The plastic base of the evidence tag can be written on with pencil, most pens and permanent markers, then seal down the clear protective plastic and seal completely with your fingers.

   The information you've recorded is now water, chemical, abrasion and tamper-proof. The adhesive will set up in a few hours, any attempt to alter the information will be seen by the adhesive residue and imperfections in the cover.
