   Tamper-Proof, water-proof evidence tags are a new idea that is simple and effective. Uticom is an innovative manufacturer of weather resistant graphics for harsh environments. We recently had the opportunity to apply our technologies to identify crime scene evidence. In a few short months these evidence plates are rapidly becoming the system of choice for professionals across the country.

   With the Uticom evidence plate the information is recorded on the plastic bottom layer with pencil or permanent marker, then peel away the paper line from the top layer, which leaves the clear plastic adhesive laminate to completely seal the information. Your information cannot be smudged or smeared because of the clear protective coating - your plate is now 100% waterproof.

   The evidence plates are manufactured from tough, durable plastic (try and tear a filled out and sealed plate) that can be ordered blank or pre-printed and in a variety of sizes and colors. The evidence plates can be attached with wire, string, tie wraps and the plates are also available in an adhesive backed form. Uticom can also package the plates in kits that include plates, ties, and marking pens.
